Primary sources first

CRS rules, point tables, accepted language tests and material definitions are checked against Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada pages on Canada.ca. We link to the relevant official source on reference guides so readers can verify the rule directly.

Review process

• Calculator rules are compared with the official CRS criteria before release.
• Content involving point values includes a visible review date and source.
• Rule changes are applied to the calculator and affected guides, then their modification dates are updated.
• Examples are clearly described as examples, not predictions of an invitation.

Independence and scope

This site is an independent educational tool. It is not connected with the Government of Canada, does not determine program eligibility, and does not provide legal advice. The result in an individual’s IRCC account is authoritative.

If you identify a calculation or content error, email info@canadacrsscorecalculator.com with the page address, the statement or result in question, and the official source supporting the correction. We review material reports against current IRCC guidance and update affected content when warranted.
